OUR STORY

it all began…

In 1967, at age 14, Debbie Love fell in love with silver-mining town Taxco, on a trip to Mexico with her Aunt Lillian. Streetscapes painted with bright bougainvillea, bold mountain backdrops, fresh fruit carts, and everyone eating outside…

That image stuck with her, and now years later, Solecita is here!

Inspired by the nostalgia of Taxco where neighbors gather to eat, courtyard-style, under that bright sun, and nobody is a stranger!

And hey… in that order. They are better together!

INSPIRATION

You know that feeling when sun rays are beaming on your closed eyelids? Or you hear a friendly, "hey there, Sunshine?"

Well, Solecita translates to β€œLittle sun”. It's a warm welcome in every way.

Handmade

CHURROS

icon-churro.png

We’re honoring traditional Mexican street foods with our hot and fresh churros. Select a yummy dipping sauce like cajeta, or white chocolate, and you’ll be savoring the incredible flavors of Mexico!

To celebrate streetscape culture a little "extra", we transformed a Piaggio Ape into a Churro Cart!

Traditional

tacos + tortas

Our Tacos y tortas are almost as colorful as those inspired Taxco streets.

The ingredients are freshly prepared, and served out of our Airstream...

just another cool set of wheels that decided to park it here.
